Job Summary:

As a discovery stage, rapidly growing company, Vividion is looking for energetic and experienced candidates with a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with pure organic compounds, have a working understanding of the basics of molecular structure, analytical skills, experience with a variety of lab instrumentation, and solvation techniques. For the right candidate, this position could present significant career growth opportunities as Vividion grows and transitions to a development stage company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support routine compound management tasks including maintaining compound library and dispensing requests
  • Proficiently operate and troubleshoot instrumentation and software
  • Interface with CROs and research team to ensure compound needs are met
  • Maintain thorough, accurate and detailed documentation in batch records of all work produced
  • Work closely with cheminformatics to identify and implement process changes to streamline throughput, including the introduction of process automation and identifying LIMS requirements
  • Create SOPs, and act as subject matter expert for revisions or improvements to documents
  • Develop and routinely run assays related to physicochemical and pharmaceutical properties

Education and Experience requirements:
  • PhD and 0-2 years (or MS and 6+ years; BS and 10+ years) relevant work experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office (particularly Excel)
  • Expertise with robotics, informatics, and programming related to compound management
  • Familiarity with Dotmatics relational database systems strongly desirable
  • Successful managerial and mentoring experience preferred
