Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and highly-energetic, professional sales executive for our US market. He/she will be responsible for executing the business strategy to drive the overall business with a strong sales acumen and a track record of innovative sales approaches. 

Product responsibility will be innovative differentiated assay kits and chemistries assisting life science researchers and clinicians in molecular biology, cancer research, infectious diseases and diagnostics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute the sales plan with the marketing and support team to drive sales growth and achieve the annual sales plan
  • Support the executive team to develop and implement go-to-market strategies for various product lines and selection of appropriate distribution and marketing channels
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base in targeted accounts
  • Identify new large value opportunities to develop strategic business relationships in key accounts focusing on Life Sciences and Diagnostics in the US
  • Develop strong relationships to retain key customers and grow recurring sales with existing customers in targeted accounts
  • Manage sales activities according to a solutions-selling, disciplined process
  • Maintain customer database in CRM
  • Continually provide feedback and assist the organizational needs around market development and new product opportunities, customer trends, competitive activities

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or relevant field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in life science or similar industries
  • Management and Leadership experience is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to grow a business from scratch
  • Experience in commercializing new products
  • Rich sales experience including driving the sales process from plan to close, building and maintaining an effective sales pipeline, building strong networks and successfully managing long term customer relationships
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment
  • Demonstrates initiative and creative approaches with focused urgency
