The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing a dynamic and news-based intranet and serving as a trusted business partner and counselor to a variety of functions on a wide-range of communications projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing a dynamic and news-based intranet and serving as a trusted business partner and counselor to a variety of functions on a wide-range of communications projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of company intranet including, overall strategy; content planning and upgrades; development of regular metrics and uses data to drive content development; management of writers and content developers; writing and editing of weekly content; management of story ideas and content calendar; serve as intranet webmaster
- Manage weekly companywide newsletter including, overall strategy; ideation; copy writing; visual procurement; distribution; upgrades; analytics
- Partner with business units and shared functional areas to create cohesive, informative and timely communications
- Partner with corporate communications team on quarterly all employee meetings
- Enforce communications guidelines for ensuring that all communications and visual content (i.e. videos, branding, advertisements, etc) are funneled for approval through corporate communications before being disseminated
- Help develop programs that leverage existing and emerging technology to engage with employees across the organization
- Create content for Horizon channels (employee events, town hall meetings, email campaigns, press releases etc.).
- Help oversee the usage of corporate branding (logos, style guidelines, etc)
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, marketing, public relations or other related field preferred
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience/deep subject matter expertise in internal communications or corporate communications
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills required
- Self-motivated with outstanding interpersonal, team, and collaboration skills
- Strategic, creative thinker with a strong ability to represent communications best practices to internal stakeholders
- Experience within the healthcare industry and/or creative agency a plus
- Proactive, detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of video production a plus
