Novartis Gene Therapies is seeking a talented and motivated intern to join our dynamic, growing group. The Analytical Chemistry intern will develop analytical methods supporting the biophysical characterization of our gene therapy drug products.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new techniques for virus characterization under guidance of PhD Sr. Scientist
  • Design, perform, and analyze experiments
  • Perform HPLC and/or CE assays and assist with other technical assignments
  • Summarize findings in reports and presentations

Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a BS, MS, PhD, or Pharm D program in biochemistry, chemistry, bioengineering, chemical engineering, or similar
  • Experience with HPLC and/or CE is highly preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
  • 3.0 or better GPA


The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
