In this newly created function, the Command Center Operations Associate Manager will oversee multi-disciplined Regeneron staff and contractors responsible for maintaining and operating Regeneron's Building Management Systems, including but not limited to, Vivariums & PMPD critical building systems. The successeful Associate Manager will provide support, oversee, and lead Operations maintenance activities and critical equipment systemss. Support equipment repairs and maintenance. Schedules and coordinates work with staff, contractors and/or Project provided personnel. Provides specific critical R&D support services. This position will be required to work holidays.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE are Monday-Friday/Tuesday- Saturday 4 pm to 12:30 am and Midnight to 8 am. Shifts maybe adjusted as needed to cover vacations and holidays coverage.
A typical day might include:

  • Management responsibilities including, but not limited to, hiring, disciplinary actions and termination decisions, coaching, counseling and leading performance of direct reports, support staff, contractors, setting work schedules, assigning work, and leading all aspects of the work product.
  • Manage Building Management Systems operations and daily activities to insure responsibilities are carried out properly.
  • Make decisions regarding maintenance for Vivariums, PMPD, and other critical R&D support services. Informs Operations Management and R&D staff of necessary steps to be taken, and drives maintenance within context of job's authority to resolution.
  • Manages staff, contractors, and consultants responsible for maintenance and operation of Building Systems on the Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow campus.
  • Responsible for Building Management System reliability and quality control. Monitors Building Systems, recommends & authorizes repairs, and ensures uninterrupted operation of facility equipment and systems.
  • Plans, schedules and coordinates service and repairs through internal personnel and external vendors/contractors.
  • Assist with the development and management of budgets.
  • Provides general facilities assistance and support services throughout Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow locations.
  • Available 24/7 for emergency response.
This job requires:
  • High school/trade school diploma required, degree in relevant field desired, with previous supervisory/management experience. Requires a minimum of six years related experience working in a management role in facility/operations.
