Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Scientist for our Analytical Chemistry department in Tarrytown, NY. Position will apply a variety of established LC-MS/MS based methods/SOPs to perform extensive mAb product characterization to support Regeneron drug discovery, development and regulatory filing. Develop liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) based methods on targeted and non-targeted metabolomics for cell culture analysis. Develop and apply state-of-the-art mass spectrometry and its related technologies for the analytical characterization of therapeutic protein drug candidates and/or products, including monoclonal, bispecific antibodies and antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), to support different drug development activities. Work closely with multi-functional project teams, including but not limited to research, formulation, process development, pharmacokinetic/ pharmacodynamics, etc.; provide high quality analytical data and present results at group, department, and cross-functional team meetings. Identify opportunities to improve existing or developing innovative analytical methods (e.g. novel MS or LC-MS/MS methods) to better support therapeutic protein characterization during drug development.

Minimum Requirement:
Must possess a PhD degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field, with 4 years of experience of using mass spectrometry for both protein characterization/proteomics and metabolomics. Must possess 4 years of experience in the following: developing and performing mass spectrometry and UPLC and associated applications for protein characterization and small molecule analysis; metabolites extraction; LC-MS method development for targeted and non-targeted metabolomics; cellular metabolism; statistical analysis; metabolites data interpretation and pathway analysis; and with the following instruments: Thermo Orbitrap and Q-TOF mass spectrometer, Waters ACQUITY UPLC system, 908 ZipChip capillary electrophoresis. Must possess 2 years of experience with the following software: Xcalibur, MassLynx, and Skyline.
