The Reimbursement Business Manager, Rare Disease, will support prescribing/treating health care providers (HCPs) and their office staff in acquiring appropriate and timely patient access to Regeneron's rare disease product evinacumab.

We are seeking an individual to be the key contact for education of site of care access options, rollout of reimbursement information updates and brand specific strategies. You will develop and maintain a high-level of partnership and integration with the 3rd party HUB vendor. The position requires a highly motivated individual that can work cross-functionally to accomplish objectives. This position will be nationwide.

A typical day may include the following:
• Establish HCP/office understanding of access services/support, including patient-specific coverage, channel acquisition, and site of care options
• Ensure efficient patient access, effective account- and patient-level pull-through
• Use network data platforms to track account/patient-level case status as well as identify/address gaps and potential barriers to patient access
• Ensure the specialty pharmacy (SP) and PSS external partners are meeting case-specific SLAs and quality standards
• Provide sales support via distribution of reimbursement materials and assistance to physician offices and Medical Specialists. Work with PSS to track and report on trends, assist PSS staff in addressing coding, coverage or reimbursement resolutions, appeals for authorization and payment as directed.
• Participate with quality strategies and tactics including Call Calibrations, Case Reviews, Operational Health Reviews, and Customer Satisfaction Surveys to effectively evaluate the Rare Disease PSS.
• Influence partners at various levels of the organization to ensure changes to the program align with the brand strategy, ensuring the overall patient experience meets our best-in-class goals.
• Understand and analyze program data to effectively communicate key information on a continuous basis to different functional areas and influence the strategic approach in the commercial organization (Sr. Management, Field teams, Brand Marketing, Market Access)

You will have the following qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years working for a pharmaceutical manufacturer; previous experience in working on or leading a reimbursement or patient services program is highly preferred (1-2 years minimum). Preferred areas of experience include 2-4 years market access (e.g. field reimbursement, account management, marketing, or trade, field sales), 2-4 years commercial operations, and 2-4 years project management. Finance, pricing, contracting, auditing and or economic / quantitative modeling is preferred. Strong preference for previous rare disease experience. Excellent organizational, project management and interpersonal skills are key for this role. Must have confirmed expertise in supporting healthcare provider offices with medical coding, claims/billing processes and submissions of both public and private insurers for biotechnology, medical devices and/or pharmaceutical products. Knowledge of UB-04, CMS-1500, EOB, and prior authorization forms is important. You should be a team player and give creative ideas and positive energy to the group.
• Must be willing to travel up to 70%
