Thought Leader Liaison, Respiratory
The Thought Leader Liaison, Respiratory is a field-based, non-sales role, focused on enhancing and improving interactions with key external Respiratory thought leaders. The areas of focus include thought leader engagement, advocacy development, capturing market insights, work closely with marketing and coordinating engagements with identified management. All TLL interactions are always within label, and consistent with commercial compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines. A TLL will work cross-functionally with colleagues in Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Market Access. The attributes for success include teamwork, communication, planning, and work on initiatives and provide timely feedback. This role reports to the Associate Director (AD TLL).
Responsibilities:
  • Conducting substantive business discussions related to on-label product information, disease state, and general corporate overviews
  • Compliantly collaborating and presenting cross-functionally in order to ensure cohesiveness
  • Executing a customer-centric needs based approach with respect to leaders
  • Plan and execute engagements and senior executive meetings at local, regional and nationals conferences, POAs, in field engagements, and venues as advised, in a complaint manner
  • Act as a liaison to home office teams
  • Assisting with key leader development, including speakers, with approved decks and materials
  • Becoming the point of contact for speaker logistic/scheduling activities and working cross functionally to ensure communication
  • Acquiring feedback on Respiratory Franchise and marketing strategies/materials
  • Update commercial leadership on topics
  • Providing advisory board participant recommendations, and attend advisory boards where needed
  • Provide speaker recommendations to marketing
  • Facilitate speaker bureau management, including contracting when requested
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • Respiratory, Allergy or Pulmonology required
  • Specialty pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience with a minimum of five years of work experience in one or more of the following: field sales, product marketing, or medical / clinical experience including experience in the Respiratory market or a similar subcutaneous, self-injectable biologic specialty market. Launch experience preferred.
  • Ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success
  • Ability to present ideas efficient to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (past leadership experience a plus but not required)
  • Strong project management experience, including superior analytical and planning skills.
  • Ability to execute against strategic and tactical plans under timelines
  • Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs
  • Current understanding of pharmaceutical promotional rules and regulations
  • Valid driver's license
  • ~ 60% - 80% travel likely; could be less based on geography
  • Work within label, and regulatory and legal compliance guidelines
  • Preferred residence in Atlanta, GA or Nashville, TN
