Job Details
As the R&D Specialist in Skeletal Diseases, a typical day might include:
- Performing in vivo studies and handling animal models
- Maintaining, transfecting, and transducing (mammalian) cell lines
- Performing biochemical/immunological and molecular biology assays (e.g. Flow Cytometry, ELISA, DNA/RNA extractions, Western blotting)
- Analyzing and presenting data
- Maintaining appropriate records of all experiments
- Maintaining lab supplies and help with lab organization
This role might be for you if:
- You are highly organized
- You can work autonomously but also enjoy collaborating on projects when needed
- You are able to excel in a multi-project, fast-track environment
To be considered for this opportunity, must have a science relation bachelor's degree, masters a plus but not required. A minimum of 2 years laboratory experience. Should be skilled in molecular biology, cell biology or physiology. Have a high level of comfort in conducting experiments with minimal direction . Should have experience in in vitro and in vivo experiments. Should be able to analyze data and have sufficient communicative. Additional knowledge in FlowJo and GraphPad Prism is desirable but not a must.
