We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Production Technician in Fremont, CA. This individual will be a contributor in defining, then maintaining, the production processes and supply of microfluidic consumables utilized in Intabio's cIEF-MS integrated assay. The successful candidate will bring sound laboratory manufacturing fundamentals, organized management of production data and effective communication skills. Position reports to the Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but not limited to)
  • Assembly of microfluidic consumables (fine motor skills, microscope assembly)
  • Performing incoming and end of line quality testing
  • Recoding of production data to batch records/travelers/databases
  • Maintaining clean and organized production space
  • Providing input to (and possibly drafting) initial/revision of production documents
  • Providing input to development teams based on production experiences
  • Executing development builds with limited documentation


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in laboratory manufacturing (or equivalent)
  • Associate's Degree in a science related field or Bachelor's Degree in biotech, chemistry, biology or related field
  • Experience in fast paced startup environment a plus
  • Effective utility player with ability & willingness to quickly learn new skills and techniques
  • Proficient in general laboratory tools & techniques (pipettes, balances, pH/conductivity meters, microscopes, UOM conversions, fume hood use, safe handling of hazardous chemicals, etc.)
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail on work
  • Ability to accurately and consistently document production data
  • Good communications skills, written & verbal (English)
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Ability to safely lift, up to 50lbs
