Position Summary

We are seeking a Scientist who works well in a small fast-paced immuno-oncology environment, someone who is a self-starter, has great communication skills, and is well organized. This high-profile role on a growing team focused on discovering the molecular targets of tumor-specific patient-derived antibodies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and lead immunoprecipitation / target purification experiments
• Develop scalable platforms to detect and confirm molecular targets of orphan-antibodies
• Lead protein expression, purification and antibody:antigen characterization experiments
• Manage direct reports
• Prepare and present reports, publications, oral presentations and patent application documents

Required Skills and Qualifications

• PhD with 0-8 years industry experience, or Post-Doc with 0-8 years of industry experience

Required:  Immuno-precipitation or related complex target discovery experience

Preferred experience:

• Experience with mass spectrometry operation and analyses
• Experience selecting and utilizing cross-linkers (XL-MS)
• Protein expression and characterization in mammalian systems background
• Experience with Bia-core, Octet, or related technologies
• Experience managing direct reports preferred
• Track record of productivity evidenced by publications or patents
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
