Novartis Gene Therapies is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator who shares a passion for hiring the best and the brightest. The Coordinator will work closely with a team of recruiters, along with University Relations, in a fast-paced gene-therapy organization. The Coordinator is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships, often providing candidates with their first impression of Novartis Gene Therapies.

This candidate will work across functions with both internal and external clients and candidates. This individual should possess great communication skills and have the ability to adapt quickly to the needs of the business. The coordinator will provide a range of administrative support services to the Talent Acquisition and the University Relations teams.

Responsibilities
  • Schedules interviews and phone screens working directly with candidates and hiring managers, in some cases arranging travel for visiting candidates.
  • Updates candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems and confirming new hires.
  • Provides follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email.
  • Tracks recruiting activities and provides candidate status in a weekly report.
  • Coordinates the post-interview debrief meetings and provides debrief materials.
  • Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
  • Schedule and coordinate events on campus.
  • Prepare career fair/event materials and shipping to the appropriate universities.
  • Prepare on-campus interview materials for the respective campus lead and team.
  • Register and secure participation at Career Fairs and other events via universities website or Handshake.
  • Work on special projects as needed.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of recruiting coordinator or HR experience or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of HR Coordinator experience.
  • Experience with scheduling in Outlook or a similar tool.
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Superb customer focus, attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
  • Excellent professional judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Adept at learning new software and web-based tools.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity, represent the company's high ethics and professionalism.


The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
