ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Head of Advocacy, the Manager, Advocacy Associations will be responsible for:

  • Coordination of internal and external Advocacy projects and initiatives
  • Manage the tactical execution of key initiatives supported by Advocacy
  • Develop communications and regular updates on Advocacy priorities to internal stakeholders
  • Work with Advocacy team to support activities both internally and externally, including processes and procedures
  • Interact with key internal stakeholders to ensure that strategies and tactics are linked to achievement of key objectives
  • Help to ensure that all Advocacy activities comply with company policy and legal and regulatory requirements
  • Align and track key projects to ensure completion and reporting

 


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Education:

 

 

  • BS/BA degree required
  • 3+ years of demonstrated high-level professional knowledge and experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech company
  • Experience in any the following areas is preferred: project management, communications, patient advocacy, public relations, marketing, philanthropy

 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly collaborative, with the ability to develop effective working relationships in a matrix environment
  • Project management experience with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously required
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and organizational skills, and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Up to 25% travel required
