Overview

Black Diamond Therapeutics is a precision oncology medicine company pioneering the discovery and development of small molecule, tumor-agnostic therapies. Black Diamond targets undrugged mutations in patients with genetically defined cancers for whom limited treatment options currently exist. Black Diamond is built upon a deep understanding of cancer genetics, protein structure and function, and medicinal chemistry. The Company's proprietary technology platform, Mutation-Allostery-Pharmacology, or MAP, platform, is designed to allow Black Diamond to analyze population-level genetic sequencing data to identify oncogenic mutations that promote cancer across tumor types, group these mutations into families and develop a single small molecule therapy in a tumor-agnostic manner that targets a specific family of mutations.

Black Diamond Therapeutics, a clinical stage company, based in Cambridge Massachusetts is looking for an experienced chemistry, manufacturing and controls (CMC) project management professional to oversee successful execution of development activities within Technical Operations organization. Senior Manager will work closely with subject matter experts in chemical and formulation development, analytical controls and supply chain to create detailed project timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Regularly interact with chemical, formulation and analytical development and supply chain team members
  • Assist with developing functional goals, execution plans and budget oversight
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project timelines
  • Track the status of all ongoing development and manufacturing activities Establish a timeline for the preparation of source documents library and related module 3 sections
  • Present project status updates
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Collaborate with Technical Operations, Non-Clinical Development and Clinical Operations teams to establish an integrated program development plan

Qualifications
  • A degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in pharmaceutical CMC development and/or operations
  • Direct experience in managing CMC projects, preferably from early stage to commercialization
  • Resources planning and budget development and monitoring is a plus
  • Expert level knowledge of MS Project and Excel applications
  • Participation on cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of small molecule drug substance oral solid dose CMC development
  • Participation in preparation of investigational new drug (IND) applications and New Drug Application (NDA) is a plus


Work Location:

The role will be based in our Cambridge office.
