4D is seeking an organized and scientifically minded project manager who wants to pursue a career as a Project Manager in Gene Therapy Product Development. The level of the position will depend on experience. The Project Manager will report directly to and work with a Senior Project Manager and work closely with scientists in the R&D and Translational teams .

  • Timeline and Team Management 25% of TIME
  • Establish of project timelines and gantt charts.
  • Work with the internal scientific team to obtain timeline and project updates and communicate to project management team.
  • Organize meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes, tracking decisions and action items, and ensuring appropriate and timely action items follow up for the project team

  • Contract Procurement & Budget 15% of TIME:
  • Manage review and execution of CDAs, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), as well as CRO proposals, contracts, scope changes and amendments by working with the PM team and the legal department.
  • Establish PO's and work with accounting to track project progress
  • Work closely with the preclinical team, establish and maintain mechanisms to track completion or adherence to all CRO deliverables and obligations
  • Work with PM team to develop program budgets, including work with the VP and Head of Program Management.

  • Vendor Management: 50% of TIME:
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between 4DMT and vendors for communications regarding study timelines, material shipment, data reporting,
  • Assist with tasks including shipping and tracking of biological samples, communicating to external CRO's, updating internal teams on deliverables
  • Work closely with the preclinical team, establish and maintain mechanisms to track completion or adherence to all CRO deliverables and obligations

  • Other: 10% of TIME
  • Coordinate logistics related to scheduling of assigned therapeutic Scientific Advisory Board and Joint Development Team meetings, agenda preparation/distribution, tracking meeting action items, member travel, etc.
  • Prepare reports, conduct research and develop presentations, as requested.

  • Education:
  • BA or BS degree in a scientific field required

  • Experience:
  • 1-2 years of project management experience required
  • Experience in the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry or other comparable field required
  • Previous interaction or participation in cross-functional teams and work in a scientific or clinical setting supporting drug development is desired

  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
  • Ability to capture scientific discussion in the form of meeting minutes, decision points and action items
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on projects in a timely manner
  • The ideal candidate will have administrative experience, particularly in project management, operational planning, and/or contracts management
  • Proficient in relevant software: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project a plus
  • Must have excellent reading comprehension and the ability to understand complex outsourcing contracts and summarize for management
  • Must be able to work independently and within team environments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail; exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
