Viral Vector Process Development Scientist, Cell Therapy

This young post-IPO biotech company is expanding its Viral Vector capacity to enhance its cutting-edge platform technology. The Process Development team now has a newly-established Scientist position that offers a chance to be on the ground floor of their newly-formed viral vector group. Would work with exceptionally high-caliber scientific talent from diverse disciplines and conduct pioneering science in a dynamic and mutually supportive environment. As a viral vector process development project leader, will have a strategic voice in a key role in optimizing viral vector production to advance cell therapy development.
- BS, MS, or PhD,
- Industry experience applying molecular biology and cell culture skills in aseptic cell-handling and bioreactor scale-up.
- Experience applying qPCR/flow cytometry for production and analytics of large-scale viral vector manufacturing.
- Experience in a process development environment that optimizes novel, robust, and scalable upstream and downstream viral vector processes to support viral production and analytics.
- Team skills are essential as are organization skills, attention-to-detail, strong documentation skills, ability to multi-task, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse disciplines.
