Job Description

The Executive Director, Brand and Communications will take the lead in developing, planning and overseeing the launch and rollout execution of the new Allergan Aesthetics global brand and supporting corporate communications efforts for the world's leading aesthetics products including facial injectables, plastic and regenerative medicines and body sculpting.

• Oversee the global launch, rollout, and ongoing management of the new Allergan Aesthetics brand
• Present high-level strategy for communications and partner with the global network of leaders and communicators on rollout.
• Lead the management of all brand communications for Allergan Aesthetics including, but not limited to, websites, social media, executive and internal communications, and media relations.
• Manage highly complex communications challenges and issues that intersect government affairs, communications, marketing, philanthropy, and social responsibility.
• Develop team members through active coaching and mentoring
• Grow our reach with media and communications agencies as needed/required



• Bachelor's degree in communications, business, or related field; MBA / graduate degree desired.
• Minimum twelve (12) - fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible communications and media relations experience must include agency experience and experience working with beauty and pharmaceuticals.
• Experience managing digital properties including websites, social channels, and work with influencers.
• Ability to develop strategic partnerships both internally and externally.
• Experience managing a team of communications professionals and supporting a global company.

• Demonstrable ability to build and develop internal and external relationships
• Good understanding of the digital and social media landscape, understanding of the beauty, health and wellness space preferable
