Role Overview
  • Title: Specialist / Manager, Global Supply Chain Process and Projects
  • Manager: Executive Director, Global Supply Chain Strategy

Scope of the Role

This role will be responsible for project based support of Global Supply Chain Strategy (GSCS) in the following areas: Administration, Process Excellence, Performance Management, Innovation and Governance, and Communications Support. In this supporting role, you will collaborate with functional leads and team members in the support of GSCS projects including assistance with project development, management, process improvements, project execution, communications, coordination with other departments, and ensuring tasks and milestones are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management and completion of multiple projects, tasks, and deliverables in a detailed and prioritized manner and according to established deadlines
  • Collaborate with multiple functional and project leads while taking ownership of their directives and independently completing all tasks as assigned.
  • Support project teams by aiding in team communications, preparing emails/notifications, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and slide decks, timelines and additional supportive tasks as required by leads
  • Aid in technical data driven activities including project performance tracking, supply chain data analysis, and report preparation
  • Support the analysis of processes for improvements including prepping for meetings, coordinating workshops, and generating process flow charts
  • Work closely with the GSCS Leadership team to support the development and execution of the GSCS strategy and goals
  • Maintain/develop strong relationships with GSCS stakeholders and cross functional project team members to facilitate collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Provide administrative support to the GSCS department by working closely with Senior coordinator to prep communications, assist in file management in SharePoint, scheduling/coordinating GSCS meetings and workshops, taking and publishing minutes, and all other tasks as assigned

Experience and Qualifications
  • Self-motivated individual able to assimilate information quickly, prioritize competing tasks and deadlines, and work independently towards team goals and task completion
  • Individual eagerly willing to participate in an international, fast-paced, reputed, global pharmaceutical/Bio-Technology company organized in a complex matrix structure
  • A quick learner - able to learn and implement new skills including, but not limited to project management and process excellence tools, principles, and applications that are used across all aspects of the Global Supply Chain
  • Ability to learn and understand complex supply chain reports, metrics, and analytics and subsequently participate in their creation
  • Ability to understand complex processes/problems and propose alternate solutions in a dynamic environment where all team members have a voice
  • Ability to identify, manage, and/or escalate issues and risks to timelines
  • Demonstrated flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to meet objectives in a rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities
  • Solid communication capabilities and practices (oral and written)
  • Works well in team environment with strong interpersonal capabilities; comfortable working cross-functionally and across multiple levels of the organization including executive leadership
  • Basic understanding of MS Office Suite including Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, & Word
