Job Description:

The Product Manager will play a key role in the development, creation and execution of the annual marketing and sales action plans. This position will act as a “Product Champion” who provides leadership in the process of developing, creating and executing all high priority commercial initiatives.

The Product Manager is a member of a team of marketing professionals and regularly interacts with senior management and others across the company. Supporting the development of short / mid / and long-term strategies, annual brand plans and tactical plans and related measurement activities in Neurosciences Business Unit and involves several internal functions as well as external partners.

Incumbents in this role, as all other employees, are fully accountable for compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen activities.

Main responsibilities / job expectations

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work closely with internal colleagues and vendors to conceptualize, develop, and execute promotional and educational materials both delivered by the sales team including:
    • (HCP) education and training initiatives
    • Speaker's bureau training platform
    • Support the development and execution of highly effective sales direction and training
  • Ensure measurement marketing program efficacy metrics and ROI
  • Manage Convention plans and activities
  • Co-Lead thought leader feedback activities including Advisory Boards, Councils, etc.
  • Contribute to the development of a Brand Digital strategy and execution across HCP customer segments
  • Liaise with field sales leadership to support execution of strategic account initiatives
  • Ensure effective and efficient cross-functional collaboration and alignment with other marketing teams, sales, medical affairs, managed care, reimbursement, business analytics, and others in and outside the Business Unit to meet or exceed brand objectives
  • Work closely with Business Unit leadership and to contribute to the development and realization of Business Unit vision and plans
  • Ensure commercial operational objectives, goals, and KPIs are met. Identify potential significant - positive or negative - deviations as early as possible and provide management updates
  • Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen U.S. staff

Experience and Education

Incumbents should have, as a minimum:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years sales and marketing experience in life-sciences
  • Minimum of 2 years Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
  • Neuroscience and or Specialty, Buy and Bill pharmaceutical marketing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated organization, project and budget management skills
  • Previous experience in developing and executing tactical plans, including multi-channel programs
  • Demonstrated abilities to interact with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders across the organizations
  • Demonstrated abilities to interact with and external stakeholders, including medical thought leaders, organized patient organizations, and others
  • Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding quantitative and qualitative targets.
