WHAT YOUR NEW MANAGER WANTS YOU TO KNOW:

"I am looking for someone with excellent planning and organizational skills for this critical new role to help us transition our Maintenance activities to a detailed, controlled and robust weekly set of assignments which are integrated with the production schedule and prepared with all resources for flawless maintenance activity execution. This role requires computer skills across various programs, critical thinking, handling of multiple ongoing activities and effective communication and coordination with multiple departments within the organization."

*YOU ARE more than just a title, YOU ARE... the lead in workload planning and scheduling activities to expedite, streamline and otherwise provide a positive influence and increased productivity for services provided by the maintenance department at our Cincinnati, OH site. You will support effective and efficient job execution by identifying and performing job investigation, plan development, material procurement, standard data application, communication, reporting and follow-up.

YOU WILL:

First Line for Maintenance Planning. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures for Maintenance planning and scheduling. You will support daily maintenance labor force scheduling for the site. Analyze, prepare and distribute performance reports for identified metrics to measure effectiveness of maintenance planning and scheduling efforts.

Communication and Planning Lead. Identify projects which are planned and create time and resource estimates by conducting field checks and review of work requests. Work with internal stakeholders including the production department coordinator, facility engineer, or supervisor to determine exact requirements and priority. Identify, create, review, plan, schedule and communicate job or work plans to include personnel and material needs. Facilitate communication and coordination for projects or workload through discussions and meetings and review of sketches, drawings or vendor literature to enable the technician to perform the work successfully.

Parts Management Lead. Order parts and materials from stockroom or vendors to support planned and scheduled work. Arrange for equipment availability as needed to accomplish necessary work.

Qualifications

YOU BRING:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of Technical Degree and work experience is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience dealing with packaging machinery (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry)
  • Multi-skilled trades capability and familiarity with the application and operation of all basic maintenance tools and equipment used by mechanical and electrical technicians
  • Proficient in MS Office and good computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
