The Project Analyst will be a vital resource in support of key initiatives within Cellular Therapy Development & Operations (CTDO) at Bristol Myers Squibb. This position will be responsible for supporting the External Manufacturing (EM) and Strategic Sourcing teams. These teams are dedicated to launching therapies that represent a significant advancement in cancer treatment technology and patient responses.


This position will report to the Director, External Manufacturing & Strategic Sourcing CTDO based in Summit, NJ.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support, manage, lead a portfolio of projects for EM and Sourcing teams
  • Conduct market research on industries and suppliers for different sourcing categories
  • Provide detailed analysis and insight on internal data collected across CTDO Supply Chain and its systems
  • Assist in preparation of presentations and strategies in support of EM and Sourcing teams
  • Launch and manage RFI/RFPs in support of EM and Sourcing teams
  • Manage, negotiate and execute CDAs with EM and Sourcing teams
  • Create and maintain reports that are utilized by EM and Sourcing team to drive decisions and advance projects
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of supplier activities and communications
  • Initiate and manage change controls for EM and Sourcing Teams
  • Lead document management of contracts, policies, supplier data, training, templates to maintain an organized, accessible library for EM and Sourcing teams

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Science, or Business
  • Graduate Degree a plus
  • ISM, CIPS and/or APICS certifications preferred
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus

  • 2-3 years of Pharmaceutical GMP sourcing, external/contract manufacturing or operations preferred
  • Sourcing or operations experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to confidently communicate with all staff levels across functions
  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to generate and manage reports
