BMS Cell Therapy Global Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Program Manager to join the Strategy & Business Operations (S&BO) team to support our leadership team and network governance committees. This position plays a critical role in facilitating matrix decision teams and driving effective operations. This role requires excellent organizational and project management skills, specifically in cross-functional, complex matrix environments. This position requires a willingness to play a very active, behind-the-scenes role to support business operations and teams management.

The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Facilitate leadership, governance, and project teams through effective management of agendas, minutes, action follow-ups, and communication.
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly leadership meetings, including planning activities and cross-function engagement.
  • Support matrix project teams with development of business cases and requirements for portfolio management and facilitate data-driven decision-making. Assume project manager role as needed.
  • Support CTGM operations oversight, including monthly network tracking and reporting of goals and KPI scorecards.
  • Manage CTGM SharePoint hub, including development of design, content, access, and enabling effective communication across the network.
  • Role will be a member of the CTGM S&BO team, and can act as a backup for the Manager or Peers.
  • Participate and support projects and strategic initiatives as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance project management tools and implement appropriate industry best practice project management methodologies.

  • Required: Excellent project management skills; proficiency in PM tools, visual reporting applications, SharePoint.
  • >3 years of experience in project coordination, program management, and/or portfolio management in pharma operations setting. Desired: PMP certification.
  • Experience in PM, engineering, finance, OE, pharma manufacturing operations, or business analytics.
  • Masters and/or Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Operations, or Technical discipline.
  • Experience collaborating on teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Adept communication skills including ability to summarize complex issues concisely and listen effectively to stakeholders to understand needs and challenges.
  • Ability to drive processes and influence change in a cross-functional matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative with outstanding relationship management skills, and high emotional intelligence
  • Strong initiative with the ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity and timelines simultaneously.
  • Self-starter who identifies and helps solve problems, and can deal with ambiguity.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Team player mindset.
