• Leads creation and management of a global network risk management program for Product Development that considers both internal and external risk factors, leverages enterprise risk management programs, and integrates risks from both within and outside of the company.

• Key member of global network strategy matrix team responsible for the network strategy within the Product Development global development and manufacturing network, including risk management, benchmarking, capacity modeling and gap analysis.

• Partners with Product Development leaders to ensure frequent refresh of global network requirements. Identifies technology deficiencies and provides a forward-looking view of network technology requirements to ensure network delivery against the evolving Product Development pipeline portfolio. Leverages both internal and external stakeholders in developing perspective.

• Maintains network stability through identification of technology and capability deterioration; partners with Strategic Business Operations and functional areas to develop action plans to address in the facility and equipment capital strategies.

• Develops and manages a fit-for-purpose business continuity program where global network continuity is at center. Point of contact for GPS Business Continuity.

• Curates and/or maintains associated tools and data to support program management and rapid analysis


• BS/MS/PhD Degree in engineering or related science. MBA a plus.

• >10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or a related industry with > 5 years practical experience directly relevant to the role

• Broad understanding of CMC development and capabilities.

• Broad understanding of risk management approaches and programs.

• Demonstrated ability to partner at all levels of the organization and to proactively manage ambiguity.

• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, team-building, and communication skills.
