Viral Vector Process Development for Cell Therapy Startup - Scientist / Engineer or Senior Associate

The company is currently expanding its viral vector team to enhance its cutting-edge platform technology. The process development team now has two newly-minted positions: 1) a PD Scientist or Engineer and 2) a Senior PD Associate. Both roles offer a chance to join a newly-formed viral vector team in a rapidly-growing startup focused on next-gen therapies to enhance patient-care. As a member of this dynamic and mutually supportive team culture, will build new skills in a pioneering field and interact regularly with top-notch industry professionals.
- BS, MS, or PhD (position level contingent on experience)
- Required: industry experience applying molecular biology and cell culture skills in aseptic cell handling and bioreactor scale-up.
- Preferred: a.) experience applying qPCR/flow cytometry for production and analytics of large-scale viral vector manufacturing and b) experience in a process development environment that optimizes novel, robust, and scalable upstream and downstream viral vector processes to support viral production and analytics.
- Team skills are essential as are organization, attention-to-detail, strong documentation skills, ability to multi-task, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse disciplines.
