  • Perform activities related to the Systems Life Cycle (SLC) of the AbbVie Operations Manufacturing & Quality systems. This includes MES recipe development, testing and validation protocols edits and execution. Integration of manufacturing recipes to ensure proper synchronization between systems such as POMSnet, SAP, LIMS and DeltaV.
  • Examine and evaluate Manufacturing & Quality Systems to ensure they are 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and in compliance with the Data Integrity policy. Provide support to implement Data Integrity remediation's and Risk Assessments (FMEA).
  • Provides First Level support to Manufacturing & Quality Systems, including incident management, user access control and problem resolution.
  • Support manufacturing applications and related information using existing tools and procedures. This includes Data Security, systems administration procedures like accounts management, re-certification and data backup, restore to ensure security and data integrity compliance.
  • Collect and review data, create and distribute various communications including Data Analytics Dashboards, Key performance indicators (KPIs), application documentation and status reports to keep management and users informed about system projects progress and plans.
  • Uses appropriate tools to collect, correlate and analyze data; records and maintains technical data for use in developing operating and instruction manuals.
  • Conducts tests; develops preliminary findings for review by experienced analysts. Assists in the development of standards and procedures. Prepares written reports of work. Applies and executes standard information systems theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Determines approach and solution to problem when issue is within scope of own ability. Develops solutions to problems where casual relationships can be identified and precedents exist. Conducts training.
  • Applies analytical thinking skills to diagnose and make recommendations on systems. Incorporates knowledge of business and technology to make recommendations.
  • Translates data gathered from user discussions into business requirements. Identifies business/system needs and recommends solutions. Assists with the testing strategies and develops preliminary findings.
  • Analyzes departmental processes and needs and makes recommendations that are most effective means to satisfy those needs. Analyses the most complex work procedures and job methods and presents concepts to simplify those procedures.
  • Work is performed and technical decisions are made with a high degree of independence and performance is judged by results obtained.
  • Monitors and organizes the efforts of technical and business support staff. Manages projects according to milestones and completes tasks assigned by more experienced analysts and managers. Guides the efforts of less experienced staff.
  • Exercises latitude in approach to problem and solution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree with 6 or more years of technical experience; or Masters degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Must have experience in Business IT and knowledge in manufacturing processes.
  • Systems Testing and IT Implementation experience, is required.
  • Project Management experience, strongly preferable.
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership attributes and understanding of the business processes
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate in the implementation of departmental strategies in the organization is a must.
