Change Management Specialist is responsible executing change management strategy across ~35 of the medium to high impact sites as part of the Location Strategy Site Moves Integration program. The Change Management Specialist will help coordinate the movement of employees across various locations. Employees will need to be provided communications and support as they transition from one physical office location to another. In addition, employees at existing sites where there are new joiners and/or construction build outs also need to be provided with communication and support. This multi-year initiative will include, but is not limited to, change management planning, communication execution, meeting coordination, training logistics coordination, site volunteer coordination and deployment, partnering with local affiliate resources, and coordinating with other integration related change management efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate and execute consistent repeatable Change Management activities including communications, local site volunteers, welcome packets, and training activities
  • Develop Site Moves Communication Playbook
  • Manage coordination with local on-site move team volunteers
  • Coordinate translations of communications when applicable
  • Work closely with BHR to ensure cultural and site appropriate content is relevant to audiences
  • Work closely with BTS to ensure the communication of technologies and set ups are embedded within communications.
  • Ensure any BHR and/or legal review and approval of communications
  • Integrate communications with other integration initiatives to manage change saturation and end-user impact
  • Ability to write and edits engaging and visually appealing communications in support of related projects and targeted process area coordinating with Director Change Manager, where needed (i.e.: project communications, success stories/wins, executive summaries, blog posts, presentations)
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of communications and Change Management strategy by creating and implementing measures to track outcomes.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Change Management Specialist will be accountable to the Director of Change Management, Training, and Communications within the Finance Shared Services Organization. The key impact of this role is to ensure meaningful, impactful communications to drive the effectiveness of the Location Strategy/Site moves integration program.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning or related function.
  • 5+ years of experience and proficiency in developing and delivering communication including strong group facilitation and excellent written communication skills.
  • Change Management Methodology Certification Preferred (e.g.: PROSCI Certification, ACMP Certification, or Managed Change Certification)
  • Proven ability to adapt communication style for a variety of modes as well as for multicultural audiences.
  • Ability to adapt communication style, techniques or methods to meet user needs, observe and interpret behavioral queues, listen with empathy to understand users' frame of reference, coach and provide feedback.
  • Strong command of the English language and effective communication skills with employees at any level in the organization, including executives, are a must.
  • Multi-lingual ability preferred.
  • The project team is based in Lake County, IL. However, this role can operate in any locations.
