The Senior Director, Sales Analytics and Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing Sales Operations strategies and tactics that optimize the performance of the Sales and Market Access functions to ensure the successful launch and growth of AVXS-101 and pipeline programs.
This individual will provide strategic direction and decision support for Senior Leadership on market trends, business systems requirements, process improvements, and other aspects affecting commercial operational performance. This position will also play a key role with consultants and data supply vendors.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of sales operations professionals who provide support to the sales and market access organizations.
- Provide strategic direction, planning and insights to the organization to ensure long term goal achievement, ROI and appropriate investment in people, systems, and process needs.
- Implement the sales force strategy and measure sales force performance. Ongoing maintain field alignment, call plan.
- Manage the field team Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure field team efficiency and appropriate customer profiling and management.
- Define the company data management strategy and implement a robust system that incorporates multiple disparate data sources and ensures accurate and complete data.
- Develop the field performance reporting strategy and implement a robust and flexible reporting system to ensure timely and accurate insights that drive business decisions.
- Design and manage field incentive programs that motivate and reward, in line with company strategy and budget.
- Manage data information and quality from internal or external data sources.
- Instill a culture of ethics and integrity and set up data and systems that ensures compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical Sales Analytics and Operations
- S. or similar level quantitative/ analytics-related degree required.
- Knowledge of sales force portfolios, data sources, territory alignments, resource allocation, incentive compensation, goal setting processes and sales force effectiveness is required.
- Demonstrated business acumen, proven ability in translating ideas into concepts, gaining budget and delivering results against budget on time.
- Ability to consult, draw out issues, conduct root cause analysis and build customer focused recommendations.
- Ability to prioritize critical tasks and maintain a high degree of accuracy amid competing deadlines.
- Proven process improvement skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time/ task management skills.
- Proven team leader skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong PC and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a global, matrix organization.

- Strong interpersonal skills and persuasiveness.

- Domestic travel is estimated to be 5-10%.
