Support the manufacturing process in the R&D API Pilot Plant by assuring that materials are staged and stocked for production. Support equipment set-up, sampling and cleaning activities. Complete documentation per current good manufacturing practice guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilies:
  • Learn and follow department policies, procedures and guidelines. Complete documentation and supporting data per cGMP policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure the floor is maintained in a neat, orderly, audit ready appearance.
  • Develop systematic work habits that show effective organizational skills.
  • Be able to prepare for process requirements following supervisory instruction, including transferring materials and commodities to the proper staging area.
  • Act as a liaison between Materials Management and Operations for any material issues or concerns.
  • Support the maintenance of commodity stock and cycle counts.
  • Completes documentation corresponding to the movement of materials, samples, final product and waste.
  • Utilizes the electronic inventory system (SAP) to maintain accurate material movement and equipment transactions.


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelors or Associates Degree in a scientific related field is desirable.
  • Job requires basic technical or mechanical background and knowledge.
  • Display mechanical aptitude.
  • Must have ability to: 1. Read, understand, and follow verbal and written operating instructions and the processes and flows described on equipment/computer monitors; 2. Write at a level sufficient enough to explain deviations or mistakes in process; 3. Add, subtract, divide, multiply, use decimals and fractions, recognize and measure proportions, and do basic algebraic math at an intermediate level of competency.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards related to pharmaceutical products (e.g. cGMP) is preferred.
  • Previous work related experience in a pharmaceutical production environment is preferred .
