We have R&D roles based in the following locations:

Headquartered in North Chicago, Illinois, AbbVie US offers exciting opportunities to develop and market advanced therapies and solutions to address some of the world's most complex and serious diseases. North Chicago is also home to our R&D Center of Excellence and our Operations and Commercial teams. AbbVie is expanding its oncology hub on the West Coast, with our new main site in the San Francisco Bay Area focused on the discovery and development of novel oncology therapies. More than 1,000 AbbVie scientists, clinicians and product developers with strong entrepreneurial roots work across this area. They combine their expertise in immuno-oncology, stem cells and cell-signaling with their knowledge of bispecific antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and covalent-inhibitor technologies to discover and develop novel cancer treatments.

AbbVie also has a hub in Massachusetts employing nearly 900 in the state. The AbbVie Bioresearch Center in Worcester is home to biologics and immunology discovery, as well as biologics development and manufacturing. In 2016, we opened the 43,000-square-foot Cambridge Research Center in the Cambridge, Massachusetts biotech corridor.
