Position Summary:

As an analyst, field operations, you will play an important role in leading the development, planning and execution of field programs such as sample management, credentialing, fleet and others. Programs will enable various field activities for commercial and medical affairs field force teams. It is a highly interactive and cross-functional role where you will develop an understanding of the field force business and focus on effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Lead and manage field operations processes and deliverables for Commercial and shared Medical Affairs field team needs including sample management, fleet, credentialing, roster management and incentive compensation execution.
  • Manage and serve as point of contact for fleet operations for all field medical and commercial team members including car allowance and fuel card. Ensure that new employees that are eligible for fleet benefits are set up on a timely basis. Manage the systems updates regarding eligibility in fleet operations including drivers' license and liability insurance documentation.
  • Manage and serve as point of contact onboarding/offboarding process for field force including hardware and software and other field needs. Partner with IT and external IT vendor partner to ensure that equipment is ordered and delivered to new field force members on a timely basis, before sales training.
  • Manage the operational and execution process for incentive compensation including plan attestations, accrual processing and payouts. Partner with the IC Design Leads to ensure that quarterly plan attestations are communicated to IC-eligible field force on a timely basis at the start of new plan period. Track and follow-up as needed to ensure all attestations are received on time per internal process. Partner with IC Design Leads to develop accrual documentation each quarter, route for approval and submit to Finance. At end of quarter, calculate payouts for incentive compensation working with Analytics and IC Design Lead to investigate and make any adjustments as appropriate. Consolidate and route payout documentation and submit to Payroll. Answer field IC questions and partner with Analytics and IC Design Lead to answer and further communicate as needed.
  • Manage the incentive compensation process quarterly calendar and work with IC Design Leads to schedule CLT and Advisory Committee meetings with appropriate leaders.
  • Drive key field ops projects as assigned (e.g., motor vehicle records, "Back to Field")
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts to ensure operational efficiencies across the field teams.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance guidelines and guide stakeholders on appropriate processes.
  • Drive adherence to timelines and timely approval of promotional program and ad board content as required working with the PRC team.
  • Troubleshoot bottlenecks in workflow system.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project and process status adequately to all participants. Modify level of communication to meet audiences' level of need to know basis.
  • Effectively prioritize activities during times of high volume - product launches, sales meetings, etc. - balancing competing objectives to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
  • 4-year degree preferred and/or equivalent Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • At least 2 years of sales/field operations experience in Pharma or similar process experience
  • Finance and/or account experience preferred
  • Must possess strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively, ability to reprioritize project workload quickly
  • Excels in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and is able to focus and follow guidelines with minimal supervision
