Novartis Gene Therapies is seeking an intern to assist the Global Stability, Quality Control team with Gene Therapy Operational Stability activities, Stability testing evaluation, and Stability Data Analysis.

A Novartis GTx Global Stability, Quality Control 2021 intern will encounter:

• Development opportunities to learn about Gene therapy products, product uses, cutting edge testing methodologies, and stability science.
• Exposure to Novartis GTx Scientists and Cross-Functional leaders to build career relationships while fostering scientific knowledge.
• Commitment to provide mentorship, direction, and support, and advocate for your success.

Responsibilities

• Train and execute on Novartis GTx Quality systems (Documentation, Change management, Laboratory Information Systems, and Statistical Analysis Platforms)
• Learn stability design, strategy, and guidance for evaluation of Gene Therapy stability
• Provide support to Global Stability operational activities (Study initiation, change control, stability evaluation and technical report writing)
• Development of a novel approach to address a Global Stability issue/problem/project and outline its implementation.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a Bachelors'/ Masters' degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or Biochemistry and have an aptitude for Math and/or Statistics
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Tenacity: Strong leadership skills and a "do anything" attitude
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical aptitude and analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new applications
• Detail oriented individual with demonstrated organizational skills
• Ability to work independently (with minimal supervision) and within a team environment
• Strong innovation and creative thinking; self-motivated
• Must be able to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks

The level of this position will be based on the final candidate's qualifications.
