Novartis Gene Therapies is seeking an intern to assist the Global Stability, Quality Control team with Gene Therapy Operational Stability activities, Stability testing evaluation, and Stability Data Analysis.

Novartis Gene Therapies is seeking an intern to assist the Global Stability, Quality Control team with Gene Therapy Operational Stability activities, Stability testing evaluation, and Stability Data Analysis.
A Novartis GTx Global Stability, Quality Control 2021 intern will encounter:
- Development opportunities to learn about Gene therapy products, product uses, cutting edge testing methodologies, and stability science.
- Exposure to Novartis GTx Scientists and Cross-Functional leaders to build career relationships while fostering scientific knowledge.
- Commitment to provide mentorship, direction, and support, and advocate for your success.
Responsibilities
- Train and execute on Novartis GTx Quality systems (Documentation, Change management, Laboratory Information Systems, and Statistical Analysis Platforms)
- Learn stability design, strategy, and guidance for evaluation of Gene Therapy stability
- Provide support to Global Stability operational activities (Study initiation, change control, stability evaluation and technical report writing)
- Development of a novel approach to address a Global Stability issue/problem/project and outline its implementation.
Qualifications
- Must be actively pursuing a Bachelors'/ Masters' degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or Biochemistry and have an aptitude for Math and/or Statistics
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Tenacity: Strong leadership skills and a "do anything" attitude
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical aptitude and analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new applications
- Detail oriented individual with demonstrated organizational skills
- Ability to work independently (with minimal supervision) and within a team environment
- Strong innovation and creative thinking; self-motivated
- Must be able to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks
