Responsibilities
  • Liaise/collaborate with BBGT departments (Clinical, Manufacturing, Nonclinical) and their vendors to gain an understanding of departmental contracts, SOWs, purchase orders, and various other projects to assess the impact on accruals
  • The primary reviewer of all clinical, manufacturing, and research agreement invoices including reviewing and approving new vendor set up and purchase requisitions
  • Help build clinical trial budgets and update the forecast
  • Track overall progress of various projects relative to contracts/budget/forecast/purchase order
  • Forecasting clinical trial spend and ad hoc analysis on costs of clinical trials
  • Develop and maintain clinical trial, CRO% of completion, and other accrual schedules in MS Excel
  • Compile monthly account reconciliations
  • Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process to support timely close and reporting at the group BridgeBio
  • Prepare reports and provide flux analysis on CMO, CRO, clinical trial expenditures
  • Assist the Controller on ad hoc projects as needed
  • Prepare and provide documentation for external auditors on a timely basis
  • Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley (‘SOX') documentation and requirements for assigned areas

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the biotech space
  • Good business judgment and a strong understanding of clinical trial accounting
  • FP&A/management accounting background is a plus
  • Public Accounting experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and work under pressure to ensure a timely close without sacrificing quality
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently
  • Have a mindset for continuous improvement and growth in a rapidly growing and evolving organization
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite tools and ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus)
