Job Summary:

This position reports to the Director of Digital Health and will help oversee the execution of our Digital Health initiatives. You'll (a) co-manage digital health programs in clinical trials and real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives, (b) help set digital health strategies for traditional and decentralized clinical trials and for RWE initiatives, and (c) identify fit-for-purpose health IT partners to deliver digital health solutions across MyoKardia programs.

What you'll be doing:
  • Facilitate the execution of digital health projects that are medically relevant, scientifically valid and appropriately planned, and interfacing with the various functions of clinical trial and RWE initiative stakeholders (clinical science, clinical operations, legal, contracting, etc.)
  • Scope, identify, select, and deliver Digital Health tools to support the development programs across molecules.
  • Partner in strategic planning and roadmap building for all aspects of MyoKardia's Digital Health initiatives. Identify, manage and collaborate with medical device, consumer wearable, and algorithm development partners to deliver new real-world measures in patient's everyday lives.
  • Support the scientific interpretation of digital health data collected
  • Partner with KOLs and the academic / medical community to gain broader perspective on the impact, value and opportunities of our studies.
  • Work with development, research, commercial and marketing organizations to ensure deep understanding of target diseases, marketing and commercial opportunities to focus digital health study outcomes.
  • Contribute as a member of a high performing Digital Health team that effectively implements a Digital Health strategy that is integrated and aligned with key internal stakeholders.


Education/Experience:
  • MD, MBA, MPH with experience in creating digital health strategies, leading development and deployment of health IT solutions in a complex organization. Will consider other backgrounds with significant digital health experience.
  • Good understanding in biotech or pharmaceutical development organization.
  • Experience managing cross functional teams and vendors in the implementation of systems or programs supporting clinical trials, trial sites, and/or patients.
  • Prefer experience with digital health tools (wearables, e-Registration, mobile or site-less studies) for clinical trials and/or marketing in a drug development context.
