TITLE:

Associate Director, Medical Specialist- Genitourinary, Opdivo

SUMMARY:

This role will have accountability as the WW Medical Associate Director for Opdivo supporting the Genitourinary (GU) tumor team, reporting to the WW Medical GU Tumor Lead. You will participate in the cross-functional matrix teams to provide scientific and medical support on behalf of WW Medical as well as development and execution of the WW Medical Opdivo strategy in GU tumors (scientific communication, publication strategy, and integrated data generation plans).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support development and activities of the WW GU tumor medical plans and provide WW Medical insight into tumor and market specific plans
  • Partner closely with medical colleagues in the Field, the Markets, with Clinical, Commercial, Access, Health Outcomes, Scientific Publications, and other key functions to achieve objectives and foster cross-functional and geographic collaboration
  • Lead planning of key congress activities including: development and execution of medical symposia and advisory boards, thought leader encounters, medical training and strategic data summaries; provide medical input for development of booths, congress materials, and review of medical reactive materials
  • Support development and execution of WW medical training, integrated data generation plans and publication strategies (abstracts, manuscripts, and congress presentations).


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Advanced Scientific Degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) is required
  • The successful candidate must be highly professional with excellent relationship-building and communication skills, including the ability to articulate both verbally, and in writing, complex scientific principles
  • Must be highly motivated, have experience working with thought leaders and in multifunctional project teams
  • Additionally must have the skills to develop and coordinate multiple projects and initiatives, manage budget and external agencies, and execute medical symposia and advisory boards
  • Prior industry experience in Oncology Medical Affairs, Clinical Research or related experience (3-5 years) is preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically and globallyup to 20% of the time
