Your Tasks:

As a member of the Lentigen Technology Research and Development Team, you will have the exciting opportunity to play a key, hands-on role within the functional area of molecular engineering of T cell functions. More specifically, you will use Lentigen’s expertise in lentiviral vector technology to analyze T cell functions, as modified by the introduction of recombinant T cell receptors or chimeric antigen receptors with the aim of producing therapeutic immune cell populations. Furthermore, the unique duties of this position will allow you to apply state of the art research and development techniques in molecular biology, lentiviral technology, and T cell biology to make valuable contributions in keeping Lentigen Technology Inc., at the cutting edge of biomedical research.

 

Requirements:

  • PhD. or M.S. degree in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, or virology and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in immunology and cell biology techniques, including isolation and culture of primary human immune cells, multicolor flow cytometry, and cell-based assays.
  • Proficient in standard molecular biology techniques including cloning, sequencing, quantitative PCR, and production, and analysis of gene vectors.
  • Hands-on experience with gene editing techniques or automation is a plus.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job is performed in a temperature-controlled facility without exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures. Generally, this job is performed in a sanitized laboratory setting and routinely uses standard medical and research equipment such as centrifuges, biosafety cabinets, microscopes, incubators, pipettes, and computers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to blood, viruses, bacteria, body fluids and other tissues. Employees entering and leaving the laboratory must wear appropriate clothing and protective equipment such as scrubs, coveralls, masks, glasses, and gloves. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
