GMP Materials Management Manager
As a leader within the Miltenyi Biotec team, you will have the exciting opportunity to supervise and coordinate the GMP warehouse activities for our San Jose Materials Management team. You will direct, supervise and assign daily activities, transactions, and procedures for drug products and components received, stored, and shipped. In addition, you will develop, implement and maintain strict compliance of GMP policies and procedures for effectiveness and efficiency of strategic inventory and warehouse management initiatives while supporting effective manufacturing operations by leveraging supply chain tools including development of new and existing SOPs for material management processes. As a result, your understanding of enterprise resource planning and supply chain management will contribute to the continued success of our company as a whole.
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management (MM) or a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within a biotechnology/pharmaceutical environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Office software, and ERP systems.
- Robust experience within inventory control, materials management, purchasing, and business process development.
- APICS certification strongly preferred.

This job is performed in a shipping/receiving/ warehouse facility within an office building. While generally this job is performed in temperature-controlled facilities, there are occasions in which this position must work outside, in which temperatures may vary. This position deals with temperature-controlled materials in which personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required due to extreme temperatures. Used research/clinical equipment may be handled in this job and strict SOPs and PPE must be worn.
