Director, Strategic Marketing- BOTOX ® Cosmetic

YOU ARE more than just a title, YOU ARE...
  • An Innovative Executor. You will oversee the full life-cycle US pipeline development and marketing strategy for BOTOX ® Cosmetic by partnering with Downstream Professional Marketing team and Research and development teams to bridge research, early stage and late stage product development to market execution.


YOU WILL:
  • Work to maximize values. Partner closely with the BOTOX ® Chief Scientific Officer, clinical development, medical teams and regions, to develop lifecycle indications to maximize asset value.
  • Innovate strategies. Develop a comprehensive commercialization strategy, which includes pricing strategy, naming, positioning and go to market strategy
  • Work together. Collaborate across the entire research and development spectrum to align customer, consumer and commercial priorities, to translate to new product development concepts that are unique, distinct and differentiated
  • Look for new opportunities. Collect, measure, and translate consumer and user unmet needs into new product development opportunities.
  • Consistent product development. Develop commercial rationale to activate new product concepts or validate existing new product development concepts.
  • Lead various initiatives . Lead diligence efforts in unlocking hidden growth opportunities; lead competitive defense planning against market entrants. Maintain updated perspective on evolving marketplace, including new competitive entrants (understand and mitigate risks associated with competitive events), and regional differences.
  • Collaborate effectively. Collaborate with Medical Affairs, External Scientific Communications and other Medical Affairs organizations, to develop and execute a communication strategy that supports the development, education and successful launch of new products.


Qualifications

YOU BRING:
  • BS/BA or equivalent in Business, preferably in marketing or a related discipline, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of seven years+ Marketing experience in biopharmaceuticals or medical devices, with preference in both upstream and downstream capacity
  • Strong analytics experience
  • Brand management experience preferred
  • Experience in Medical Aesthetics preferred
  • Experience launching biopharmaceuticals preferred
  • Proven experience in bringing products to market that meet and exceed launch or financial targets
  • Presentation skills across a variety of organization levels and disciplines, including senior executives
  • Strong collaboration/relationship-building skills and ability to engage across multiple functions Agile
  • Business ownership mindset, the will to win and a self-starter
  • Excellent analytical skills (e.g., market and competitive dynamics and business performance), including development of new product forecast models, demand plan models and other forecast models that may be required
  • Experience launching first in class products, transformative products, products that address novel disease states or underserved disease states
  • Superb communication skills required to gain internal support for strategic and tactical initiatives, and the ability to gain group consensus in a team environment that values industry knowledge, analytics and data-based decisions.
  • Comfort in a rapidly changing environment with competing and shifting priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 40%. Overnight travel may be required.
