Research Associate II/III (Preclinical Neuroscience)

Our ideal Research Associate candidate is a self-motivated individual who has clearly demonstrated a passion for scientific research. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small team, work on transformative science, and take part in building an exciting, science-driven company.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with rodents including handling, dosing, surgical procedures and tissue collection
- Observation and scoring of behavioral assays
- Processing tissue for histology: Microtome and cryostat sectioning, staining, immunohistochemistry, imaging and quantitative analysis
- Following experimental protocols and maintaining detailed and accurate records
- Analyzing data, interpreting and communicating results
- Conducting independent experiments and contributing to collaborative activities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in biology, neuroscience, or a related field (or equivalent)
- Previous relevant lab experience with animal handling and supporting references
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to contribute to a team
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication
- Experience with stem cell research is preferred
