Come join our Global Cell Therapy Project Management team! In this role, you will be focused on a late stage cellular therapy project(s) in hematology/oncology. The size of these projects will range from small to medium complexity with supervision from the global project manager in support of the Global Project Team

Location of the position will be Seattle, WA (preferred) or Summit, NJ.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Responsibilities will be focused on a late stage cellular therapy project in hematology/oncology
  • Support the Project Team to track and execute the project strategy. Including support of indication teams, working groups, tracking actions items, meeting facilitation, and tracking of deliverables.
  • Maintains high level timelines, and assures consistency and detailed timelines with input from the functional departments, and assures that the functional timelines are aligned with global project timelines
  • Generation and maintainence of project tracking tools, dashboards, and communication tools in support of program.
  • Coordinate compilation of global project scope documents and plans.
  • Manage requests for information and prepare monthly progress reports and ad hoc reports as required
  • Organize and maintain key program documents and Sharepoint site
  • Assist the global project manager in assuring a high performance team spirit and high functioning team
  • Partner with Project Management Operations to implement best practices across project teams e.g., resource capacity planning, project risk management, team performance, timeline development and portfolio management
  • Assure that the Bristol Myers Squibb values are demonstrated in all aspects of the team work.

Required Skills/Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years of pharmaceuticals experience
  • 1 year of project management experience or equivalent
  • Understanding of drug development project management.
  • Excellent project management skills- action-orientated and result-driven
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and work in a matrix environment with strong team collaboration
  • Strong strategic thinking, creativity and collaborative negotiation skills
  • Proven track record in a cross-functional matrix environment, exerting influence to achieve results rather than counting on organizational authority
  • Experience in planning systems and tools (ex MS project, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Possesses understanding of the global drug development process,
  • Specific early development, late development, and life-cycle knowledge a plus i.e. experience in research, disease areas, regulatory, reimbursement etc.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:
  • Advanced degree desirable - MS, PhD, MBA
