Senti Bio is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic expertise and operational execution support for team leads. This role will focus on the day to day operations of our People Operations group, provide HR strategic advice, coaching, counsel and problem-solving support. This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities at this time but does serve as a coach and mentor for employees of the company.

Responsibilities
    • Work closely with the Head of People to drive strategy and evaluate organizational needs
    • Serve as an advisor to team leads on strategizing long term organizational and workforce needs required to successfully execute the business strategy
    • Educate and support leaders with people tools and processes (performance management, succession planning, training, etc.) that drive sustainability of the business
    • Provide HR coaching to all levels of people leaders on employee engagement, performance management, rewards and recognition, and training and development of teams
    • Coordinate with other HR team members to manage and address employee relations issues
    • Stay current with external trends, developments, and activities in HR and the biotech industry
    • Help manage PEO relationship with Insperity


Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in organizational psychology, human resource management, business, communications, or related field
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR roles of increasing responsibility, involving resolving complex employee relations issues
    • Experience & confidence partnering with employees of varying levels including senior executives
    • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment


Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in the biotechnology, healthcare, pharmaceutical and/or life sciences industries
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or equivalent certification from accredited/professionally recognized programs

    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
