Who You Are

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Head of EMEA Commercial will be tasked with building our commercial presence from the ground up in preparation for many key commercial launches coming up, such as spanning diverse therapeutic areas across oncology and rare Mendelian diseases. This individual will first be responsible for the global buildout of a leading cardiovascular medicine with primary responsibility for EMEA. Reporting to the CCO of BridgeBio, the ideal candidate will create the strategy, tactics, and structure for the group. This individual must have experience leading large teams globally and working across multiple countries within EMEA.

The role will be based in Zug, Switzerland and the ideal candidate will either live there currently or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

 

  • Establish and drive the execution and performance of strategic commercial initiatives and objectives
  • Execute expansion activities into new geographies
  • Attract, recruit key team members across market access, marketing, pricing, and sales
  • Deliver key operational projects across med affairs, alliance mgt, market access, marketing, sales, and ​competitive strategies
  • Develop strong external relationships with payers and providers
  • Drive commercialization strategy, innovation, prioritization, pre-launch readiness, and resource optimization


Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

 

 

  • Passionate about getting drugs into patient's hands as fast and efficiently as is humanly possible
  • Demonstrate excellence building a commercial team from scratch
  • Experience with rare disease, cardiology, oncology
  • Experience at both a large pharma and small to medium biotech firms
  • Familiarity with multi-country systems in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Exemplary interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Visionary strategic thinker
  • Ability to build relationships across functions and at all levels
  • Ability to influence others while fostering an environment of high performance and fairness
  • Global launch experience required
  • Multilingual a plus
  • Rare disease launches a plus
  • Graduate degree a plus
