Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies and lead worldwide health economic and outcomes research (WW HEOR) in support of products in development for Immunoscience indications.
  • Develop and execute innovative WW HEOR plans including real world data generation to support Immunoscience.
  • Identify opportunities and lead studies to differentiate and enhance value propositions for BMS Immunoscience assets at various stages of development..
  • Represent WW HEOR as a member of the WW brand teams, medical teams, value access teams and clinical development teams in Immunoscience and provide strategic inputs from a payor/health technology assessment perspective to brand, medical and access plans as well to clinical trials.
  • Build collaborative relationships with key internal BMS matrix partners to maximize opportunities in Immunoscience.
  • Lead, maintain and develop strong relationships and visibility with external key opinion leaders in medicine, health economics, and outcomes research with a high level of technical leadership and communication skills.


Requirements:
  • Advanced degree (such as MS, MPH, Pharm D, MD or PhD) preferably in a quantitative discipline such as epidemiology, health economics or health services research
  • At least five years of experience conducting outcomes research, health economics research, health services research, health technology assessment or conducting epidemiologic studies.
  • Experience in bridging between clinical activities, regulatory and the business groups to execute an effective outcomes strategy.
  • Business travel for key Congresses and various internal/external engagements is required.

WWHEOR delivers scientifically rigorous, customer-relevant research; Brings customer insight to the drug development process; Builds a trusted partnership with BMS matrix teams; Fosters an optimal external climate for BMS value demonstration / access and enhances the capabilities of the worldwide BMS HEOR community.

Creates the overall WWHEOR plan for a program/asset/indication with input from the key stakeholders such as Clinical, Medical, Marketing, Market Access, Statistics, Regulatory, Market based HEOR and other relevant experts.
