Position Summary:

As the Librarian, Digital Asset Management (DAM) in Marketing Operations, you will play an important role in oversight and management of Horizon's digital asset management process and system. It is a highly interactive role working with communications, marketing and agency teams to manage an effective process for cataloging and utilizing digital assets for a variety of internal and external materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Digital Asset Management (DAM) process and system for Horizon which includes oversight over all digital assets for teams such as Corporate Communications, marketing teams, ad agencies and other functions. Develops and maintains an organizational system such that digital assets can be easily searched and retrieved for materials ongoing.
  • Develop and maintain a process for receiving digital assets from teams such as Corporate Communications, marketing and agencies to ensure appropriate approvals are in place and assets are catalogued appropriately in Veeva PromoMats.
  • Manage the workflow to upload digital assets from various sources to the DAM, classify documents, input or review metadata and ensure assets can be easily located and referenced in future materials.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and maintain consistent metadata tags for system usability.
  • Work with Veeva vendor partner and IT to maintain system configuration and implement releases and new functionality as applicable. Responsible for ongoing system development.
  • Ensure that marketing teams, agencies and other users are trained and supported in their use of the DAM. Serve as a subject matter expert on the use of the DAM.
  • Develop and maintain a reference library to ensure references are up-to-date and approved in the DAM and linked to materials as appropriate.
  • Overall oversight and management of end-to-end process for the DAM.
  • Manage day-to-day activities for the DAM including interaction with internal and external stakeholders such as marketing, agencies, Corporate Communications, Medical Affairs, etc.
  • Develop and regularly report on key performance indicators surrounding the DAM use.
  • As appropriate, work with Marketing Operations PRC team to develop and maintain SOP(s) for the DAM and review at minimum annually for required updates.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines for submission of material into the promotional review system.
  • Troubleshoot bottlenecks in workflow system.
  • Review assigned submissions for completeness and accuracy based on defined PRC standards.
  • Effectively prioritize pieces during times of high volume - product launches, sales meetings, etc. - balancing competing objectives to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget.


Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience required)
  • 1-3 years' experience in related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experienced with a digital asset management system such as Veeva DAM or related system preferred
