ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST / SCIENTIST, TRANSLATIONAL MEDICINE

Adicet Bio is seeking a highly talented and motivated Associate Scientist/Scientist to drive forward the translational and biomarker strategies for Adicet Bio's programs. The individual will be responsible for developing in vitro assays to identify clinically useful biomarkers that support Adicet Bio's product candidates.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops in vitro assays to identify clinically useful biomarkers that aid in indication selection, patient selection, understanding of PK/PD relationships, and development of diagnostic tests
  • Plans, executes, analyzes, and documents experiments and presents results at internal meetings
  • Participates in preparing translational medicine sections of IBs, INDs, abstracts, manuscripts, and technical reports
  • Participates in cross-functional teams to support preclinical drug discovery and development

Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant scientific field (e.g., immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology) and productive post-doctoral experience OR MS in a relevant scientific field and 5+ years of industry experience in executing and documenting in vitro studies
  • Experience in in-depth characterization of T/NK cells and/or CAR T/NK cell products is preferred
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extensive experience in standard cellular, molecular biology, and protein biochemistry techniques (e.g., real-time PCR, Western blotting, multiparameter flow cytometry, IF/IHC, ELISA) is required
  • Expertise in cutting edge assay technologies and proven assay troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with methodologies and platforms used for analyzing high-content data such as multiparameter cytometry or transcriptomics data is highly desirable
