Position Summary

Bristol Myers Squibb's Cell Therapy business is entering an exciting new phase as it begins the commercialization of its first CAR-T products. Commercialization drives new scope, scale, and complexity across the network, and requires manufacturing sites, global organizations, and IT systems to work together in new ways.

The Business Delivery Support Manager is a part of the Business Delivery Team responsible for the organization, management, and delivery of documentation required for deployment of global CTDP IT systems including ERP, OBIEE, and SCOPE in support of CTDO late stage clinical and commercial operations. The Business Delivery Support team, reporting to the Business Delivery Support Manager, will work directly with Business Delivery Managers, IT SMEs, and other delivery resources to document business use cases, user requirements, test scripts, and traceability matrices to support scalable and compliant delivery of business capabilities within assigned systems.

The Business Delivery Support Manager is a key leader within the Business Delivery Team. The Business Delivery Support Manager works collaboratively with different delivery business stakeholders to understand the documentation of requirements, to define timelines, to facilitate resourcing, and to deliver supporting documentation. In addition, this role will directly manage a team, including the budgeting and onboarding of temporary contract resources to satisfy short periods of high demand for business delivery needs.

Detailed Position Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally, including with various business and IT functions to support Cell Therapy.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise in delivery support processes including, but not limited to: GxP and IT controlled documentation management processes and systems; GxP and IT change management processes and systems; and business and IT process management, requirement management, and business testing management processes and systems.
  • Build and manage process for documenting user requirements, use cases, test management, scripts, and evidence including methodology, standard tools and templates, library/storage structure, maintenance, and periodic review process.
  • Build and manage process for User Acceptance testing.
  • Manage delivery support team and collaborate with Project & Portfolio Management planning team to estimate project resource needs, provide input to work breakdown structure during project planning phase, and provide management of delivery tasks within delivery support team.
  • Manage resourcing plan for delivery support team, including budgeting and onboarding of temporary contract resources to satisfy short periods of high demand.
  • Enables continuous improvement opportunities as well as innovation of delivery support documentation management and processes.
  • Generate insightful reports and communications to inform delivery teams of progress, status, risks and issues.

Desired Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related scientific field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical industry preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Proven experience in project management, process design, and continuous improvement that resulted in sustained, on-going process improvement.
  • Experience with managing controlled documentation, preferably within a regulated industry
  • Experience working with IT deliverables such as requirements and testing documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.
  • Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to members of the organization
  • Ability to deliver presentations, challenge assumptions, and drive decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advance knowledge of personal computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, SmartSheet, etc.
  • Preferred experience with requirements and/or testing management tools such as BluePrint, HP ALM, or Jira.
  • Ability to travel 20%.
