As part of the Amgen's Manufacturing Operations organization, our Amgen Woburn Manufacturing (AWM) site manufactures oncolytic virus based end-to-end drug substance and drug products for the global market. Amgen is seeking a Supply Chain Project & Analytics Senior Associate to be a part of our Amgen Woburn (AWM) Supply Chain team. The role will support the management of existing Supply Chain operations at the site as well as the creation of new business processes to support site expansion. This role will capture data and conduct analysis that will drive projects to improve the business processes and prepare the business for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Support multi-departmental, cross-functional, Supply Chain projects of medium to high complexity
  • Own Deviation and Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) records related to Supply Chain
  • Author and own department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Own Change Controls led by AWM Supply Chain
  • Monitor Supply Chain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics with a focus on executing projects to bend trend line curves in a positive direction
  • Support labor force and storage space utilization modeling
  • Demonstrate standard methodologies and industry trends to drive continuous process improvement
  • Support Amgen Woburn Supply Chain with Operational Excellence (OE) and Lean Transformation tools to drive operational improvements for both existing and new operations Ensure operations are in full compliance with safety, regulatory, and budgetary requirements
  • Utilize various tools to gather and analyze data for creation of graphs, charts and reports to articulate the outcomes
  • Work within a high safety culture with high quality standards
  • Other tasks as assigned to support site maintenance and operations


Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Life Science experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Life Science experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Life Science experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and GDP requirements
  • Training and/or demonstrated experience in change control management systems
  • Experience integrating LEAN methodologies into Supply Chain business processes
  • Awareness of industry trends and developments in biopharmaceutical logistics
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics
  • 2+ years of experience the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
  • SAP and Microsoft Office suite experience
  • Project management experience
  • Independent collaboration with outside resources
  • Ability to interact constructively with peers/teams
  • Ability to provide oversight to work performed onsite by multiple vendors
