Description

The Director of WW Hematology Franchise Operations is responsible for collaborating with a matrix team to streamline operations and drive effective knowledge sharing between the Worldwide hematology brand teams, the markets, and other functions, to impact business performance. This individual will focus on leveraging existing Bristol-Myers Squibb Company commercial capabilities to support the WW hematology teams and launches. The individual will be developing innovative solutions to simplify commercial operations of key events and deliverables within the WW hematology teams, identifying inefficiencies, and ensuring those solutions are scalable and incorporated worldwide. The individual will establish relationships within the broader organization and support projects that will evolve the commercialization of our business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage and integrate Bristol-Myers Squibb Company commercial capabilities to support the WW hematology brand teams needs for business continuity as well as future product launches.
  • Identify opportunities for simplification, propose solutions, and lead implementation, within brand teams and across markets where needed
  • Support innovation and integration workstreams on change management planning and communications
  • Plan and facilitate the brand planning process, in alignment with other TAs, including coordination of brand team meetings to develop the strategic summary, disseminating to the markets
  • Ensure adherence to Bristol-Myers Squibb Company business cycle (brand planning, April and September projections and budget timing) including coordination with all key stakeholders. This person would partner with the WW hematology brand teams to identifying opportunities to reallocate resources as needed and ensure that the team meets their OpEx budget
  • Anticipate business needs around key events and proactively develop plan to address needs and facilitate achievement of key decision points
  • Lead various initiatives to drive further efficiencies for WW strategy and operations across all TAs. Initiatives include, but are not limited to, improvements on brand plan process, marketing excellence seminars, development of governance and policies/processes for meetings and congresses, drive governance process for WW hematology into BMS GTs, etc.
  • Drive standardization of processes across brands and markets for key process identified by Senior Management (e.g. Interchanges, market visits, etc.). This will require meeting with brand teams and market brand leads to identify needs, benchmarking costs, size, etc., and providing a recommendation
  • Summarize knowledge and market learnings for dissemination to markets to enable more efficient launch preparations and quick response to market events for in-market indications
  • Facilitate requests for information from the brand teams to the markets, with a focus on identifying more efficient knowledge-sharing methods to reduce the workload on the market teams
  • Coordinate pre-con meetings execution across Medical, Commercial, and Access for EHA and ASH

Qualifications:
  • Candidate must have a BA/BS degree or equivalent; MBA is preferred
  • 8+ years' of Pharmaceutical Management/Leadership experience
  • Marketing, sales, medical, or operations experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholder up, down and across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and design and implement multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully executing projects across multi-functional teams
  • Concise and impactful oral and written communication skills
  • Has demonstrated project management skills
