Position Summary:

The Early Career Talent Program Manager will lead and manage Horizon's early career development programs including the company's undergraduate and graduate internship and the newly launched management development program. The role includes all aspects of campus hiring strategy, design and execution of overall program to develop our early career talent. The role will require to collaborate with different stakeholders from business and HR to establish and execute the programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Key responsibilities to drive recruiting efforts for all early career programs include:
    • Collaborate with business leaders and other key stakeholders to determine and communicate campus recruitment/early career methodologies, including diversity strategies, school selection, pipeline programs, candidate management and hiring numbers
    • Design, manage and actively execute innovative programs and activities to support all campus recruiting efforts including outreach and partnerships with targeted programs and schools
    • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with career services, student organizations and faculty
    • Engage students through traditional and non-traditional methods on-campus and virtually through social media
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the interview and onboarding processes
    • Continuously evaluate targeted schools and programs based on our evolving business and talent needs
    • Evaluate success of recruiting season by preparing and analyzing statistics on overall results to identify areas for process and performance improvement
  • Key responsibilities to design and execute management/technical development programs include:
    • In partnership with Leadership Development Lead and other stakeholders, design early career programs, including areas such as defining reporting structures, employee development activities, performance management processes and manager education
    • Create, manage and drive implementation of program plans
    • Strive to ensure engagement and retention of top/key talent
    • Provide guidance and coaching to program participants and to their managers throughout duration of the program
    • Seek ongoing feedback from program participants and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvements are being made to all programs

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • 7- 10 years of experience leading early career development programs- recruitment and program development efforts; Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; graduate degree a plus (e.g., Business, Human Resources)
  • Experience with building early career programs - ideally experience with internship, undergraduate and graduate programs within an organization
  • Talent Acquisition experience with a focus on early talent pipeline, university relations, or campus recruiting experience
  • HR Business Partner/ Generalist experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute programs that deliver results in support of business strategies
  • Strong project management, teamwork, execution and organizational skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills - written and verbal— communicating with stakeholders and leaders at all levels
  • Creative thinker with a desire and ability to seek opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ability to operate comfortably in a matrixed environment, balancing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrates organizational agility and ability to work effectively, collaborate and influence across a multi-location organization
  • Ability to travel as needed (when travel is permitted)
