SUMMARY:The Senior HR Operations Coordinator will play a key role in managing and developing efficiencies throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to off-boarding. This position will also support new hire orientation, immigration, as well as other HR projects and process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This position will be responsible for:
  • Manage full cycle employee data management, including onboarding, organizational changes, compensation changes and off-boarding transactions in HR system, UltiPro
  • Manage off-boarding process; create off-boarding packets and coordinate final paychecks with Payroll
  • Coordinate new hire orientation scheduling and related communications to new hires
  • Act as a liaison with external immigration attorney and key stakeholders on immigration-related requests to ensure all visa applications, postings or other documentations are completed accurately for timely submission
  • Coordinate with benefits brokers/vendors on benefits-related transactions, including new hire enrollments, life event changes, terminations and Cobra, etc.
  • Participate in HR projects to define requirements, identify gaps, provide recommendations and support change management efforts to improve employee experience, work processes and efficiencies
  • Assist with troubleshooting system and integration issues
  • Assist with reporting requests, data analysis and audits to meet business needs and ensure data integrity using Cognos Business Intelligence and Excel
  • Coordinate benefits and compliance reporting needs and requirements
  • Participate in SOX or other compliance-related projects and coordinate employee data requests
  • Maintain HR records (electronic and paper files) to ensure confidentiality and retention requirements are followed
  • Provide support for other HR programs and projects, as needed


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, HRIS, or other related areas

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with cross-functional teams (e.g., Payroll, Finance, IT, Facilities, Recruiting, HR Business Partners, Legal, etc.)
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Gmail, Google Calendar, Box, Zoom, Smartsheet, Slack, and DocuSign
  • Experience with UltiPro (Core, Onboarding, Payroll, Performance and Compensation modules) and Cognos Business Intelligence strongly preferred
  • Experience working with external immigration attorney on visa applications strongly preferred
  • Ability to perform data analysis and audits using various data sources and manipulating data sets using Excel
  • Ability to demonstrate high level of professionalism and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to work independently with good judgement to escalate issues as needed
