Summary:

The Compliance Systems Specialist (CSS) is accountable for the management of PD training content, techniques, delivery, metrics, and effectiveness as well as segments of the PD procedural document program. The CSS's main goal is to support PD in all aspects of compliance-based electronic systems. These systems include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Success Factors
• PDHQ and DCA
• Infinity
• TrackWise
• DocMan

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with PD Functional Areas to develop and deploy role-based "right-sized" curricula as necessary to support the capability learning needs of PD functional areas.
  • Assist with PD GMP training program management that includes the development and delivery of GMP training content for PD-level audiences.
  • Contribute to the development and benchmarking of training metrics to enhance and simplify the PD training process.
  • Assist with the authoring of PD-level training-related procedural documents.
  • Create materials and deliver PD-level training, including procedural document training.
  • Develop appropriate training plans for PD-level procedural documents.
  • Serve as PD's central point of contact and power-user for the electronic Learning Management System (i.e., SuccessFactors), evaluation tools (i.e., Pedagogue), and other training applications (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Assist with the management and facilitation of training evaluation and effectiveness.
  • Analyze training data to provide crisp and accurate assessment reports as required for training compliance using a variety of tools and formats.
  • Assist in implementing training innovations to foster an optimal environment for continued learning and growth within the PD organization.
  • Implement collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint) to enhance PD's capabilities and expand the compliance training sphere of influence.
  • Assist with the management of the PD-level procedural document periodic review program.
  • Serve as a PD knowledge expert for electronic procedural document management systems (e.g., PDHQ).
  • Collaborate with other BMS learning organizations and other IT partners as required.
  • Co-lead and participate in cross-functional teams for LMS administration, collaboration, or others as assigned.


CSS may also be asked to perform the following activities as required:
  • Assist with the development of design documents, storyboards, audio scripts, graphic images, communications, and other supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.).
  • Support the administration and conduct of training needs analyses, rapid prototyping/testing proof of concepts, developing maintenance plans, and developing continuous improvement processes based on post-assessment feedback.
  • Assist with the coordination, development, and distribution of learning materials (e-learning, manuals, job aids, Train the Trainer materials, etc.).
  • Analyze participation and performance data to optimize the product portfolio and user experience.


Desired Experience
Required:
 A bachelor's degree, preferably in science or engineering with a minimum of 4 years' experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
 Working knowledge of developing and conducting classroom-based GM training, including procedural document training, is required.
 Working knowledge of training delivery models and instructional esign techniques is required.
 Working knowledge of building online training materials is required.
 Demonstrated abilities for the development of creative, innovative, and practical approaches to improving training practices and systems is required.
 Understanding of objective approaches to measuring and managing training effectiveness through the application of data analytics and applications is required.
 Strong expertise in Learning Management Systems is required.
 Demonstrated ability to extract, collate, and stratify data to report information in a concise manner using a variety of data tools such as Excel, Survey Monkey, Spotfire, or Tableau is required.
 Experience working with procedural documents in a regulated technical environment and knowledge of electronic procedural document management systems such as PDHQ is required.
 Demonstrated success in managing projects and team effectiveness with minimal supervision is required.
 Strong communication skills are required.
 Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues and differences in a creative, constructive, and diplomatic manner is required.
 Demonstrated ability to follow up on open issues and drive results to completion is required.
 Demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines and multiple priorities is required.
 Strong MS Access, Excel, and SharePoint skills are required.

Ideal Candidates Would Also Have:
 Strong expertise in GMP, compliance, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
 Experience in drug development workflows and business practices is highly desirable.
 Ability and willingness to build capabilities in others through crosstraining in both large and small venues is highly desirable.
 Knowledge of other MS Office software such as PowerPoint, Teams, and Visio is highly desirable.
